This page describes the booking and payment procedures, as well as the terms and conditions related to booking with SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA.
BOOKING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Once you have checked availability with SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA and selected your desired scuba diving activity, please notify us and we will send you a payment invoice with the appropriate bank details for you to make a deposit payment by bank transfer. (We recommend using Transferwise.com for international bank transfers). We require a deposit payment of 50% of the total trip price if booked more than 4 weeks in advance. If booked less than 4 four weeks before departure, a full payment will guarantee your booking.
Upon receipt of 50% deposit (or full payment) for the specified scuba diving activity/and or excursion, you will be sent the appropriate written confirmation via email.
It is your responsibility at the time of booking to familiarize yourself with and adhere to the specific country entrance requirements, for passports, visas, inoculations, etc.

Final Payment: Due 45 days before departure date
If your balance payment is not received within a reasonable amount of time (taking into account weekends, bank holidays, delays on international transfers…), we assume you are cancelling your trip and your booking is no longer valid. Please make sure you inform us of any problems you may have; we are ready to help if we can.
For expedition liveaboard trips (9 days or longer) or Christmas and New Year’s trips in all resorts and liveaboards, a full payment is required at least 60 days before liveaboard departure/resort check-in.
For Divemaster Courses, a full payment is due at least 30 days before the start of the course.
The final payment and balance of 50% must be paid 45 days (or 60 days in the case of expeditions) before trip departure date. If the remaining balance is not received on or before that date SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA retains the right to cancel the booking, keep the deposit, and resell the scuba diving activity/and or excursion.

Effective March 13, 2020:
Trip reschedules are only possible under extenuating circumstances related to the COVID-19 outbreak and provided specifically for guests:
•In order to comply with disease control restrictions implemented by relevant governmental or health authorities
•In order to perform medical or disease control duties in connection with the COVID-19 outbreak
•As a result of flight or ground transportation cancellations initiated by an airline or ground transportation provider due to the COVID-19 outbreak
•In the event that they are diagnosed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 by a medical or health authority.
For a written cancellation request submitted by email more than 45 days prior to departure, a refund of the deposit will be granted, less an administration fee of 150 USD and any bank and/or transfer service transaction fees. The return transfer of funds will take place no more than 45 days after requested by client.
For a written cancellation request submitted by email more than 60 days prior to departure of expeditions in Indonesia (9 days or longer), Christmas and New Year’s trips and Divemaster Courses, a refund of the deposit will be granted, less an administration fee of 190 USD and any bank and/or transfer service transaction fees. The return transfer of funds will take place no more than 60 days after requested by client.
Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to departure will not be granted a refund.
Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to departure of expeditions in Indonesia (9 days or longer), Christmas and New Years trips and Divemaster Courses will not be granted a refund.
Cancellations can only be acknowledged if received IN WRITING, by email to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. No cancellations are accepted by telephone, SMS or chats. These cancellations must be acknowledged by Scuba Republic Indonesia, in writing by email in order to be valid.
CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING
If you decide to change your booking after you have made your reservation we will do what we reasonably can to accommodate you but it may not always be possible. You should notify us as soon as possible of any changes as the sooner you do this the more likely it is that we can make the change. There will be an administration fee of 100 USD (in addition to any necessary changes to the price of your reservation) for any booking changes which require the issuance of a new Confirmation of Reservation Completed or invoice including, but not limited to, changes in dates, room type and diving program.
These trips can not be cancelled as we accepted your commitment to fill the boat in its entirety. If individuals contracted by the person chartering the boat cancel, it is up to the person chartering to find replacements.
For charters we need a deposit payment equal to 25% of full price to reserve the boat and an additional payment of 25% of full price needs to be paid 6 weeks later. The remaining balance must be paid in full 8 weeks before the scheduled charter trip departure.
No refund or compensation is due payable by SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA for any unused training or trip portions. Guests who do not complete training or trips for any reason, are not entitled to a refund for a portion of the total cost.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In order to induce SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA or its partners to accept me as a member of the aforementioned diving program, I hereby release and absolve SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA or its partners, its agents, employees and invitees from any and all damages resulting from death or personal injuries, including loss of services, which I may sustain on account of, arising from, or in connection with the aforementioned diving program or the ownership, maintenance, use or operation of any automobile, ship, boat, water sport equipment or otherwise.
I further understand that remoteness of destination, local custom and/or prevailing weather conditions may cause minor inconvenience or modification to the diving portions of the tour, and SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA or it’s partners reserve the right to modify and/or cancel diving arrangements due to unfavorable weather conditions and/or technical difficulties at any time.
I also agree to pay compensation at full current market value to SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA or its partners for any and all damage or loss of property and equipment belonging to SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA or it’s partners resulting from abuse or negligence on my part. This liability waiver is all subject to the terms and conditions above, which have been read, understood and unconditionally agreed to.
I further agree to strictly observe and comply with additional reasonable terms and regulations SCUBA REPUBLIC INDONESIA or any of its employees may deem desirable or needful to prescribe during the course of any diving tour.
